Our home was built in 1758 and has welcomed families for more than 250 years. Over time we've cleared overgrown brush and old trees to make space for perennial gardens, cut flowers and vegetables.

Meet Debi
Care, in everything I grow
I'm Debi Tarnowski — a nurse by profession and a gardener for as long as I can remember. Caring for others comes naturally to me, and I bring that same attention into the gardens here in Brentwood.
These days you'll usually find me in the dahlia rows, checking the hives, or cutting flowers before the sun gets too high. Honey & Bloom Barn is a small farm, and I like it that way — it means I know every plant here.
How It Started
It began with the simple things
Honey & Bloom Barn started as a way to share the simple things I love—farm fresh eggs, local honey, handpicked flowers, and the joy that comes from growing something yourself.
A few extra eggs became a basket by the door. A few extra blooms became bouquets for neighbors. Then the dahlias arrived, and there was no turning back. Gardening has always been a passion of mine, but over the past few years it has truly blossomed.

Bees & chickens
The hives keep the gardens humming and give us our honey, while the chickens supply eggs and endless entertainment. Tommy and his tractor make the bigger projects possible.
Raspberries & harvest
Every July we're rewarded with raspberries from a patch started more than 50 years ago, plus jam, pumpkins and vegetables as the season turns.
Our Approach
Grown without shortcuts
Everything here is grown using organic practices without insecticides, herbicides, or unnecessary chemicals. Keeping our bees, chickens, family, gardens and the land around us safe is always a priority.
